Love means doing. Doing means putting yourself out there. Putting yourself out there means there is potential for hurt. The potential for hurt makes love scary.
Yes, doing love is scary. But when you get the love back that you put in, that’s what hope looks like. And hope spurs us on to continue the scary, scary business of doing love.
